Waterproof, Restore And Protect Your Wood Deck

Unlike other waterproofers that require up to 48 hours between cleaning and waterproofing, Rain-X® Wood Protector with Mold Armor® Antimicrobial Protection lets you start and finish the job the same day.

It’s really just a simple, two-step project:

1. Clean the surface with Mold Armor® E-Z Deck & Fence Wash Hose End to remove any dirt, mold, mildew or other contaminants from the deck surface – or use a pressure washer to remove sealer from previously treated wood.
2. Once the deck is not visibly wet, you’re ready to apply Rain-X® Wood Protector using a pump-up sprayer and a paintbrush, roller, or deck pad to assure a thin, even coat.  We recommend using a deck pad for quick, easy, complete coverage.

Finally, allow four to eight hours to penetrate and seal.  That’s it.  Your deck is ready for your furniture…and for you, your family and friends to enjoy.
