Sealing Brick, Concrete & Stone From The Elements

Whether it’s your driveway, walkway, patio or porch, sealing brick, concrete and stone is a project you can do yourself – saving time and money.  The key is to use Rain-X® Multi-Surface Water Sealer with Mold Armor® Antimicrobial Protection.  It provides powerful, long-lasting surface protection from the elements, mold and mildew.  Best of all, it’s a job you can do in just one day.

There are two steps, as follows:

  1. Clean the surface, being sure to remove any contaminants like dirt, grease and oil from the surface that could prevent the Water Sealer from penetrating.  A pressure washer works well for this, but is not required.
  2. Apply Rain-X® Multi-Surface Water Sealer.  Unlike other sealers that can require you to wait up to 48 hours between cleaning and sealing, you can apply Rain-X® Multi-Surface Water Sealer once the surface is not visibly wet – usually about two hours.  Just apply Rain-X® Multi-Surface Water Sealer using a pump-up sprayer or paint roller.  Use the paint roller to assure a thin, even coat, and you’re done.
